The Commonwealth Club's 104th Anniversary and 19th Annual Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner is Thursday, Feb 22, 2007 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Honorees and speakers include a blue-ribbon group of Green leaders.

Denis Hayes will be arriving in our PHEV. The $300/ticket attendees will get the message that we have real solutions to address global warming when they see that car and a Tesla Roadster as they make their way at the hotel's majestic front entrance.

The Commonwealth Club has had several PHEV-related events since 2003, and Sherry Boschert will give a talk based on her book, Plug-In Hybrids: The Cars that Will Recharge America at noon on Weds., Feb.28 (see http://www.commonwealthclub.org/mlf/).

Here's the Feb. 22 program, which is nearly sold out: http://www.commonwealthclub.org/features/annualdinner/19th
